:I agree. "Partition Table" is too generic a name for a page, MBR is where the info belongs. This page should perhaps be a disambiguation page referencing MBR, GPT, and perhaps others such as the Win2k format. [[User:Eekee|Eekee]] 23:31, 1 September 2022 (CDT)

Revision as of 06:49, 2 September 2022

Information on this page is poor quality.

I don't think we should mention about an "unofficial" 48-bit format at all, because noone uses it. Unless someone *does* use it, in which case citation needed.

The stuff about extended partitions is incorrect. I'm going to try and change it a bit to reflect reality.

I'd like the 48-bit format to be deleted or moved to its own page. It took me a couple of reads to realise I needed to just ignore it. Eekee 23:31, 1 September 2022 (CDT)

Merge with MBR?

This page is basically useless aside from the partition format, which really should be in MBR page, since that'll be where most people expect to find it. Anyone else agree? --Nakst 08:03, 17 January 2016 (CST)
