::MMU is a wanted page. Some general information on the MMU should go there as it deals with more than just paging (read: x86 segmentation), while you can keep x86-specific things in Paging, pretty much like segmentation does it. Just remember, not all MMUs work like the x86's - Combuster 16:04, 11 July 2007 (CDT)

:::Okay. I wrote a short article on the MMU. I tried to make it as generic as possible, so I only include the two things that pretty much all MMU's I've read about do. That is, Memory Protection and Memory Translation. Is there any reason not to delete this article now? --Alboin

I feel this page has no useful information. If someone has a more favorable opinion of it please speak up so I don't delete it. -Jhawthorn 01:20, 25 March 2007 (CDT)

Some background info on the MMU could be retained, the rest is just distracting petty talk. - Combuster 13:53, 25 March 2007 (CDT)

Should a page for the MMU be created, or would a section in Paging be enough? --Alboin
