First: Good work.

The "Bare Bones" series is intended to get people from the moment the power switch is flipped to their language of choice, perhaps with a "hello world" written to screen as a "this really works" message, and pointing out the major potholes on the road to come.

This here would either need some serious trimming down to be made into a bare bones, or extended into a "kernel in ADA tutorial". Compare the FreeBasic Bare Bones, which does a good job at keeping it "bare", and the Pascal tutorial, which could also stand some trimming-down. -- Solar 04:58, 18 June 2012 (CDT)

Targetting GNAT to bare metal

Should the 'Targetting GNAT to bare metal' section be removed? It's no longer relevant with the newer GCC versions. I've been able to get a consistently working cross-compiler build on Linux, and I'd be willing to do some work on a separate Ada cross-compiler article if that would help here. --Ajxs 22:09, 5 November 2019 (CST)
